Beech Mountain proudly ranks as the highest ski area in eastern North America. At 5,506 feet above sea level, the resort has one of the coldest climates in the south. While natural snowfall is welcomed, Ski Beech's state of the art snowmaking capabilities provide 100 percent slope coverage to take full advantage of its mile-high altitude. Ski Beech offers 15 downhill slopes with more than 830 vertical feet of varied terrain serviced by ten lifts.
