Description:
Otis Ridge is a small family oriented ski area located in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. It is the perfect place for novice and beginners to learn the basics. The beginner trails stroll out and around the ends of the ridge, while the Slalom run for experts drops right over a small headwall. The Ski Camp is located on the backside of the ridge and has its own early vintage rope tow, bringing young skiers to the main mountain (when natural snow allows) for the day. It operates weekdays and holiday periods through the winter season. Evening activities include night hikes, talent shows, skits, movies, ping-pong and more. Otis Ridge also has a full-service ski shop. To get to Otis Ridge from Boston (100 miles) and Springfield, take Mass Pike to Exit 3, south on Route 202-10 to Westfield.
