The locals say that if you learn to ski at Pajarito, you'll be able to ski just about anywhere. With up to 30% of the mountain in black to double black region we think we can provide the kinds of excitement and challenges longed for by more extreme skiers as well. Boarders are welcome to test their skills on our terrain park as well as a variety of terrain across the mountain. And you will ski or board; not wait in lift lines. Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is a family friendly mountain where families can spend their days skiing instead of standing in lift lines. There are lessons for new skiers 5 and up. First and Second Timer packages include rental equipment, lessons and lift privileges for one low price. The rental shop provides up to date skiing, boarding and blading equipment with friendly staff to provide the proper equipment to help make your day memorable. Pajarito Mountain is a portion of the massive Valle Grande volcanic caldera rim. From the top of the mountain the view overlooks the scenic Jemez Mountains and the impressive Valle Grande.
