The Ski Area offers an excellent learning environment for the novice skier as well as some of the longest cruising terrain available in New Mexico. The area offers 30 trails serviced by four chairlifts, a surface lift and a children's mitey mite. Sandia Peak Ski Area is a family area located in the Cibola National Forest, approximately 30 minutes from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
