We have 82 acres of skiable terrain for beginners to experts. Wolf Ridge has added additonal slopes and a new terrain park called Park Place. We have one black diamond - open weather permitting that is the toughest slope in North Carolina. The resort plans to add an additonal 2 miles of slopes and a new double lift in 2007. Wolf Ridge has been rated the best Ski Resort in Western North Carolina by Asheville Citizen Times and Mountain Xpress. We are North Carolina's most accessible ski resort, just 5 miles from I-26 off Exit 3. We have 82 skiable acres for beginners to experts. Wolf Ridge offers 2 double, 2 quad lifts and two surface lifts, plus 100% snowmaking capabilities. Our two ski lodges have ample room to prepare to hit the slopes or to relax after an exhilarating day of skiing. With comfortable tables and large viewing windows the lodge is a perfect place to watch all the ski activities. You can also relax in front of one of the large fireplaces. The SPORT SHOP offers a variety of skiing accessories as well as all types of souvenirs. The on-site RENTAL SHOP has all the equipment you need for a great day of skiing. We rent quality shaped skis, snowboards, and ski bibs to help make your trip more enjoyable.
