Inland Northwest USA, Here is your to the point forecast (Sep 15, 2017)...
Next week we are expecting an unusually chilly series of Gulf of Alaska storms to move through the Inland Northwest, with cold air and snow levels dipping to 4,000 feet, near and below the resort base elevations, though most snow will fall only on the mid and upper mountain areas at 5,000+ feet. We are expecting 2 large low pressure systems to cut south and across the region early and mid next week, with lingering light snow next Thursday and Friday.
- 49 North to Schweitzer to Silver to Lookout
- Monday - dusting mid and upper mountain, then poossible inch of snow mid and upper mtn
- Tuesday - dusting base to top, 1-2" upper mtn
- Wednesday - 3 to 5" upper mountain areas, dusting to the base
- Thursday and Friday - Dusting top to bottom, possible 1 to 2" upper mountain
- Next weekend, 24th Sep, into early October, 7 to 10 days of a late season warm spell...CM
